Telford Orchestra Appoints Samuel Lellouch as Permanent Conductor

We are delighted to announce that Samuel Lellouch has agreed to become the orchestra’s permanent Conductor and Music Director starting immediately.

Samuel is an experienced and talented orchestral conductor who studied the violin and conducting at the Brussels Royal Conservatoire. He is also an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Birmingham, specialising in industrial applications of quantum mechanics.

We are looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship with him.

Our next concert with Samuel is on the evening of Saturday 15th June at St Michael’s Church in Madeley. The programme will include Smetana’s The Moldau (Vlatva) from Ma Vlast, and two works by Dvorak – his American Suite, and his wonderfully expressive 5th Symphony.
